- State Math/Science Partnership Grant - An MSP partnership between the Northwest Regional ESD, Northwest Regional Education Labs, Hillsboro Schools, Pacific University and Linfield College. In this project, we are working with upper elementary and middle school teachers. The project included a 2 week summer institute focusing on content development in probability and statistics and pedagogical development with the Japanese lesson study model. During the academic year, each college faculty member works with a small lesson study group at a particular building, assisting in the development of several lessons. .
- Oregon Mathematics Leadership Institute - In this project, I was an instructor for a three-week summer institute for in-service teachers. The PI-s on this large grant (Tom Dick and Karen Higgins of Oregon State University, Karen Marongelle of Portland State University and Linda Foreman of the Teachers Development Group) put together an incredibly successful structure that involves over 180 teachers in Oregon.
