1 Proposition

We, the executive members of the Math Club of Pacific University, strive to enhance and enrich the lives of students on campus by providing events to connect students with a common interest in the mathematical sciences, to strengthen the relationship between students and faculty, to foster a love for mathematics, provide opportunities to explore futures in math, and never forget to give back to the community.
2 Definition
We refer to the Executive Members of Math Club as the “Four Leading Coefficients of the Group”. Here forth, the President will be referred to as the “Identity”, the Vice-President as the “Sub-Identity”, the Secretary as “The Proof”, and the Treasurer as “R.” All members of Math Club are hereafter known as the “elements” and our advisor is called an “Isomorphism”.
3 Theorem 1
A. The Group Structure of Math Club will be organized as follows:
1. Four Leading Coefficients of the Group
A. Identity
B. Sub-Identity
C. The Proof
D. R (The Real Numbers)
2. One or more Isomorphism(s).
B. If the 4 Leading Coefficients of the Group do not meet the following expectations, they will be shown to be (episilon) < 0.
1. Be enrolled in Pacific Universitys undergraduate academic program
2. Adhere to University Policies
3. Participate in the selection of new Math Club Leading Coefficients
4. Have one member (preferably the Identity) attend all monthly CORE meetings
5. Attend biweekly Math Club meetings and events at proposed locations
4 Corollary: Properties of the 4 Leading Coefficients of the Group
A. Identity
1. Delegate other elements of Math Club
2. Organize all meetings and events planned by Math Club
3. Serve as contact person for other groups and organizations on campus
4. Inherit other positions in the event that one or more positions cannot be filled
B. Sub-Identity
1. Sub in for the Identity in cases where the Identity is unable to participate
2. Assume the role of the Identity if the Identity resigns or is ousted from his or her role
3. Assist the Identity in the organization of events and with whatever the Identity requires assistance with
C. The Proof
1. Maintain accurate records of all Math Club meetings
2. Inform elements of upcoming events
D. R (The Real Numbers)
1. Maintain accurate records of all expenses by Math Club
2. Give a monthly, updated report of the financial standing of Math Club to all elements
5 Proof
Proof. Math Club will only continue to exist as long as we find new ways to participate in community service and encourage awareness of the mathematical sciences. We strive to support the study of mathematics at Pacific University and beyond. The 4 Leading Coefficients of Math Club ratified this constitution on the 13th day of April 2009. Q.E.D.
