Michael J. Rowell

Mike Rowell

I joined the faculty at Pacific University as an Assistant Professor in the Fall of 2008. Prior to my time at Pacific I worked as a full time instructor at the Pennsyvania State University. I earned my Ph.D. in 2007 under the advising of Dr. George Andrews and Dr. Ae Ja Yee in the Department of Mathematics and my Bachelors in Mathematics from the University of San Diego.

My research focuses primarily on integer partitions and hypergeometric q-series, but I have been known to stray away and get involved in other projects. See my research page for more details.
